Festivaly is a mobile app for iOS and Android that helps you record concerts and festivals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the app, including optional sign-in, cloud sync, and Festivaly Premium subscriptions.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

If you choose to sign in, we may receive identifiers from your authentication provider—Sign in with Apple, Google, or email—such as a stable user ID and, when provided by the provider, your email address or display name. Sign-in is optional for basic local use but required for multi-device sync and Premium features tied to your account.

1.2 Event and App Data

You can record concerts, festivals, photos, notes, and related metadata. Without an account, this data is stored locally on your device. When you sign in, we sync your event data to our backend servers so you can access it on other devices linked to the same account.

1.3 Usage and Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect aggregated usage data, such as navigation patterns, feature usage, crash reports, and device/OS information, to improve reliability and UX.

1.4 Subscription and Purchase Data

Premium purchases are processed by Apple (App Store). We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status and entitlements. We receive subscription identifiers and purchase state—not your payment card or bank details. We do not store credit or debit card data.

1.5 Data We Do Not Collect

Unless you provide it through optional features, Festivaly does not collect:

  • Precise real-time location tracking
  • Your device contacts
  • Payment card numbers or banking credentials

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide core app features and personal insights
  • Sync your data across devices when you are signed in
  • Manage Premium access and restore purchases
  • Improve performance, fix bugs, and understand feature usage
  • Respond to support and legal requests

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Festivaly, under contractual obligations to protect your data:

  • Apple — in-app payments and subscription billing
  • RevenueCat — subscription status and entitlement management
  • Google (Firebase Analytics) — aggregated usage analytics
  • Cloud infrastructure providers that host synced account data

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

4. Storage, Sync, and Security

4.1 Local and Cloud Storage

Event data may remain on your device and, when you use sign-in, is stored on our backend to enable multi-device sync. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest.

4.2 Device Backups

Local data may be included in iCloud or device backups managed by Apple or your device manufacturer, according to their policies.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and applicable U.S. privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

  • Access and export: Use in-app backup/export where available
  • Deletion: Contact us to request account and synced data deletion
  • Analytics: You may limit analytics via device or app settings where supported
